I will work with anyone who is willing to strive for change. My main areas of focus are trauma, dissociation and anxiety. Working for 13 years in a variety of settings gave me experience with a multitude of diagnoses and problems. I recently was trained and will obtain my certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDR Consulting. I have also completed some advanced training on CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and structural dissociation utilizing EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems).

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! I have 16 years of experience as a clinical Social Worker and I specialize in key areas of cognitive behavioral therapy for mood, EMDR, cognitive processing therapy for PTSD/trauma recovery work, substance abuse/codependency, LGBTQIA, consensual non-monogamy, and grief and loss. I incorporate mindfulness, meditation, movement, nutrition, neuroplasticity, and art therapy into my practice as well. I spent 9 years working with a VA hospital so I have a hefty amount of experience in working with veterans issues as well.

I am currently accepting new clients. From birth to death, life is a constant transition. I work with individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, and families, who are experiencing a wide range of symptoms including infidelity, breakdowns in communication, high functioning Autism, trauma, sexual abuse issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and grief. I have extensively researched issues and stressors that today's LGBTQ+ clients and families may be experiencing, and work with transgender clients to gain the appropriate gender affirming care.
