In treatment of adults I work to understand the perspective and struggles my clients are dealing with. We will work to identify common themes and issues so people can work on making lasting change they can take with them. People often have an underlying issues they struggle with that affects many aspects of their life.
With families and adolescents I utilize a systems model that realizes the importance of all the members of the family, especially parents. I specialize in adolescent and pre-adolescent boys (middle school) for a variety of issues including Asperger's Syndrome, oppositional defiance, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
