These are unprecedented times that we are living in, and there continues to be so much of the unknown out there and we all need help from others, especially now. So many people have been in isolation, and I feel that connection is vital to healing. I believe the ideal healing environment is one where you feel safe, respected, supported and valued. I work very hard to create this kind of space, especially as we are first getting to know each other. We all need to be heard and feel like someone understands what we are going through. I strive to offer this kind of understanding.
I feel it is vital to treat you as a whole and complete person and not to solely focus on symptoms. You are not your symptoms. You also are not your thoughts or feelings. Our identities are complex and multifaceted. I have experience helping people deal with: addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma and concerns specific to the LGBTQIA community.
I have a variety of experiences with a diverse array of populations. These experiences have taught me that we have more in common than we're willing to admit. I bring this sense of humanity and interconnectedness into my work. And, now more than ever, in our culture of such divisiveness, we need to be reminded that commonalities between us do exist.

Group for Adult Men with Addiction(s)
This ongoing group is for adult men, (21+), who have addiction or substance abuse issues, with a focus on what your relationship is/was like with your substance "of choice". Each group is 6-weeks long, though there is an option to continue into the next group 'cycle'. It is a mix of process and some psychoeducation components. The group is on Thursday evenings, from 5:30pm-7:00pm (Mountain Time) and NEXT GROUP CYCLE STARTS ON THURSDAY, 04/04/24, and will be meeting online. Please call or e-mail me for more information.
