Often we seek therapy when our natural tools alone can't support us anymore. Maybe life has thrown something too big at us, or we have suffered silently for too long. Through compassion and clinical tools I partner with clients to manage life transitions and navigate developmental processes. I work to create a safe, empowering space for my clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples. My theoretical approach to counseling is somewhat eclectic, but largely humanistic, existential, and integrative.
I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance allows clients to process uncomfortable feelings, confront unhealthy habits, and recognize their talents and possibilities for contribution. I aim to impart and encourage a sense of belonging, empowerment and independence through listening, advocating and assisting clients to shape their lives as they see best.
