In the journey of life, we often grapple with the quest to understand ourselves amidst the expectations of others. The struggle to align our identity with societal norms can lead to feelings of shame and a loss of connection to our true selves. This is a shared human experience, and one of particular familiarity for those whose identities are different from the dominant narratives within the larger culture. Whether you are new to therapy, rebuilding your life after a major change, exploring your truths, or seeking healing, you deserve empathy, support and understanding on your journey to live authentically.
As a queer therapist, I am passionate about working with and supporting LGBTQIA+ folks, and those whom have been disempowered. I practice trauma-informed talk therapy, and am both direct and nurturing. My approach is collaborative, relational, non-judgmental, and client-specific. I bring my humanity to therapy and value relationship building with clients.
The therapy relationship is most successful when there is a positive connection. With humor, curiosity, and validation, we can build a sturdy foundation that nurtures your resilience as we navigate life's challenges together. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can embark on a journey towards self-discovery and empowerment.
