My name is Casey and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working in a variety of community and mental health settings, including working with pregnant and parenting clients, military veterans and families, and clients with chronic illness. I love working with womxn and families on perinatal and maternal mental health as well as clients deciding what building a family looks like to them, clients adjusting to diagnoses of chronic illness, and womxn in all stages of life on health and mental health issues.

For 20 years I specialized in divorce issues, both in families with high amounts of conflict and custody disagreements and provide support during this difficult transition. In addition, I have a strong background in Attachment, and I specialize in Attachment issues in children and adults and address the various challenges clients face in their current relationships. I use EMDR when appropriate and myriad Neuropsychological interventions.

I know how difficult it can be to take those first steps in seeking out a new therapist. Life can be challenging in many ways and can be difficult navigating alone. Brian has been in the addiction/mental health field since 1993. He has been described as practical, realistic, and down-to-earth therapist who is naturally inquisitive and goal oriented. He brings his warm and light hearted sense of humor to the therapy process, as he has learned that the best way to lead a person toward wellbeing and happiness is to make the psychotherapy process relaxed, enjoyable and non-judgmental. But when necessary, Brian has a serious side, as addictions are for many, can be a life or death problem.

I am passionate about helping people move from pain, tension, and chaos into integration, wholeness, and freedom. I work with teens and adults to help them make sense of their experiences of pain, release the burdens that have been weighing them down, and find more joy. I am particularly passionate about working within the Internal Family Systems (IFS) and AEDP models.
