I provide psychological therapy which focuses on the way that people think and behave. My practice specializes in working with children/adolescents and college/post-college adults who have problems adapting to their current life circumstances. Each person brings into treatment all their experiences, both joyous and problematic, which provides a base for the development of individualized goals and objectives.
I am a Clinical Psychologist on the North Shore of Chicago with a particular interest in stress and anxiety disorders. My style of therapy is tailored to the person/family and their presenting problems. I have been trained in multiple modes of treatment, including traditional cognitive behavioral and/or skills-based approaches, expressive and play therapy.
My clients seek treatment for various problems, including disturbance of behavior, thought or mood. Some problems are straightforward, others more complex. In most cases it is the combination of the two due to the effects of living in a confusing and often conflicted world. No client is the same and as such my approach is unique to each person I meet.
