Welcome to the Clearing! We are a group of therapists focused on supporting individuals and families to cultivate connection, healing, and liberation. We specialize in exploring and reducing depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulties in relationships, and the impact of surviving the complications of the world around us.

I am enthusiastic about working with those motivated to begin their counseling journey. In my previous career as a teacher, I developed effective skills for working with children, adolescents, and adults. I typically work with teens and adults who struggle to adjust after experiencing trauma, particularly sexual trauma and interpersonal violence. I am deeply passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community through coming out, life transitions, and marital and couples issues. Additionally, I enjoy working through issues of interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, and with adults with ADHD and/or Autism.

Life brings its blessings and its challenges that are best met with thoughtfulness and compassion to ourselves and those we cherish. In therapy we can explore and focus on our individual strengths while building on the support from people in our lives during times hard choices and circumstances. With a solution focused approach, we can evaluate where we are stuck in life, how it may help and harm us, and if and how we are ready to make a change. Depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, family dysfunction, intimacy, codependency, and addiction are the focus of my practice with adults, teens, and families.

I believe that individuals have the capacity to understand and change the aspects of their lives that are unsatisfying. It is my belief that, oftentimes, individuals move through life operating on assumptions and expectations that may be out of their conscious awareness. Working through this "unfinished business" of one's past paves the way for more satisfying relationships and overall contentment in life. I work with adults, children, and adolescents. My true passion lies in working with those who are living with dissociation and plurality. I am proud to serve on the board of An Infinite Mind and offer Creative Journaling workshops and a Creative Explorations series on zoom for people Living with Dissociation.
