I have had the honor to walk alongside many hearts over the past 26 years as a Licensed Psychotherapist, Trauma Specialist, Professional Counselor, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in depression, anxiety, disorders of the self (personality and cluster B disorders), EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, sexuality, sexual betrayal or partner betrayal trauma, sexual trauma, sexual compulsivity and addiction, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Sports Traumatic Stress Disorder, couples psychotherapy, and marriage and relationship issues.

I have worked with children, families, individuals and couples in many different capacities before finding my calling as a therapist. I have specialized training in couples and marriage counseling, family counseling, PTSD/trauma, adoption and foster care, anxiety and depression, and other mental illness, life changes, grief and loss. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works individuals who struggle anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I also specialize in helping people improve attention and procrastination, including those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and learning differences. I provide both in-person and telehealth therapy, screening evaluations, and consultation. I also provide goal-oriented coaching aimed at keeping clients motivated, organized, and focused.

We believe that all too often money is the deciding factor in access to counseling services. It is important to us that all people who want a secure, supportive place to learn new skills, heal wounds, and make changes in their lives have a SAFE and AFFORDABLE place to go! We have formed Hearts and Hands Counseling, a non-profit counseling agency, to provide low-cost counseling services to the local community.

Family Matters Of Marin is a trauma informed group practice focused on supporting children and families. We help clients create more joy, love, and harmony in their lives. We are deeply interested in learning how our clients would like to change and grow, and supporting them in this process. I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker with three years of experience providing individual and group therapy to a wide variety of people through various settings. I earned my Bachelors in American Indian Studies at UCLA and my Masters in Clinical Social Work through a Trauma Responsive program of study at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. I am also an enrolled member of the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeño Indians.
