I specialize in working with young people and the LGBTQIA community. My professional background in education, clowning, and physical theater deeply informs my work. Using embodied play alongside talk therapy, I find that my clients are able to access expression, relief, and growth. This type of work is useful for kids experiencing anxiety, school and family challenges, and struggling with self esteem. It is also useful for LGBTQIA people to become more deeply in touch with their identities, using a creative lens. I am committed to meeting clients where they are at to develop a space for creative healing.

EMERGE Center for Social and Emotional Learning provides a broad array of social, emotional and psychological support services with a primary focus on adolescents and young adults. EMERGE seeks to better engage young people in their own growth process by offering innovative programs and a diverse group of professionals who are skilled and passionate about working with youth. The years between 12-25 are a period of tremendous growth, angst, excitement and opportunity, where the challenge to emerge is never greater. Our goal is to facilitate that process.

I support at-risk youth, young adults, & their families in transforming difficult emotional experiences into opportunities to deepen their relationship to self and the world around them. I enjoy helping my clients get in touch with their own inner wisdom and explore how one can begin navigating from that place with more ease. I believe we are all deserving of healing and I strive to be accessible and affirmative in my work with clients. I specialize in working with transitional-age youth and young adults age 14 and up. I guide each session with a social justice and trauma-informed lens to support your mental, emotional, and social development. This includes supporting you in managing practical life challenges such as education, employment, and interpersonal communication, as well as more complex obstacles like imposter syndrome, financial values, and intimate relationship dynamics/composition. If you are interested in beginning your journey toward becoming more a confident, introspective, emotionally balanced individual, I will be here every step of the way.

I have been privileged to have experienced a very diverse clientele. Currently I am accepting clients who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, those who are working on trauma or traumatic pasts, 'outside the box' or deep thinkers, and/or those who have lived diverse/alternative lives. So often we can be our harshest critic my ideal client is someone who is willing to explore and heal these experiences so that they can better understand and accept themself.

My framework as a psychotherapist is inspired by black feminist sci-fi writer, Octavia E. Butler who saw the possibility of many more worlds than just our own. I believe that transformative internal healing is critical to envisioning and building these worlds without the presence of imperialism, white supremacy, capitalism and cishet-patriarchy. The tools I use to support the exploration of individual, interpersonal and intergenerational trauma are shaped by abolition that rejects punitive and scarcity mindsets and disability justice which strives to value every body.
