I successfully treat relationship breakdowns, alcohol, drug, eating problems, depression, dual-diagnosis, anxiety, trauma, bariatric surgery patients. Individuals and couples address how the misuse of substances impacts their lives in negative and unproductive ways. We seek solutions together to more satisfying lifestyles and relationships. I work with couples and individuals having difficulties in relationships, wanting to resolve problems rather than separating or divorcing as their only solution. I work to separate past hurts from present reality. As an Equine Therapist, I use horses and exotic farm animals as requested.

I help couples in their relationships needing a tune-up or major overhaul, those who WANT to stay together instead of separating and just don’t know how to improve being together to communicate more effectively. As an addictions specialist, I conduct interventions, educating family members about addiction and co-dependency, to develop new, sober Lifestyles.

Working as a couples and family, therapist for my entire professional career since 1973, I have successfully treated a multitude of individuals with relationship, substance abuse, eating, and depression issues. My Mission is to provide insight and new coping skills. Located on a quiet country lane, my office is unique with exotic farm animals in the yard.

Support group for individuals who want to lose weight and maintain it by making healthy and conscious changes in the way they eat. Individualized food plans are developed to meet these goals. Psychological insight is gained by looking at what has prevented successful weight loss and management in the past. To assist in optimum food choices a monthly cooking class is part of the program that is educational and fun and where new habits can be firmly put in place. This is a multi-faceted approach encompassing support, individually developed food plans, education, exercise, and positive results.

This group will explore and discuss relationship issues that to some seem insolvable, but to others the solutions are clear. Problem solving and solution focused is the process by which insight is attained and old, unhelpful behaviors are replaced by new more constructive ones. We will cover different topics like, communication, sexuality, parenting styles, family of origin, blended families, and whatever else is most relevant to group members. Listening to other couples interact is a most helpful way to understand individual issues and the dynamics of couples relationships. The group process will be didactic, experiential, and provide insight for change.
