Psychotherapy can be a truly liberating experience! With a background in addiction treatment, ketamine assisted therapy, and sensorimotor psychotherapy, I can help you begin to identify what is keeping you stuck and co-create ways to get you unstuck. By working with mind, emotion, and body, you will feel supported and grounded throughout the process. You will develop a deeper awareness of yourself, create new ways of looking at your experience, and find ways to feel safe/ present in your daily life.
My main focus in therapy is to explore the nature of the issues you are struggling with, find the various ways it shows up in your life, and discover its source in deep (often childhood) experiences/trauma. From there we can start to build a life that is manageable, if not enjoyable, and truly yours!
While it is difficult to sum up a clinical approach in a few sentences it is just as difficult to get a sense of a therapist and your connection to them without meeting face to face.
