I use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to respectfully guide you through areas of ambivalence to change. Together, I help you create your next steps for the change you want, leading to greater satisfaction with life. According to medical literature, 80% of all illness comes from mental or emotional stress. While you may not be able to change the source of stress, you can learn to have a healthier relationship with it. Once you learn how to remove limiting beliefs and calm overwhelming emotions, the things you want to do come more easily.
EFT/Tapping is a powerful self-help method, based on research, showing emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials show that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself and accelerate healing.
EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), pain and other problems, and improving performance and creativity. Kaiser and the VA now permit experts to utilize EFT/Tapping with patients. Motivational Interviewing/MI has a foundational belief that all people have the capacity and ability to change!
