I am a LGBTQ+ therapist who loves working with individual adults who are curious about themselves and who are ready to look at their past, including any trauma that has impacted their life. I am trained in EMDR which is a powerful treatment modality that helps process traumatic or distressing events and memories. I use assessments that are validated to ensure I understand what you are experiencing. As we work together, I will ask about what is working best for you and will tailor my approach as needed. My ideal client wants freedom from something. And maybe they know that freedom comes with hard truths and possibly having to feel more, but they are willing to look in and take a peak with a little help from me and as slow or fast as you want to go. I had always had the wrong notion that bravery meant never being scared. And I wish someone had told me a long time ago, that the bravest of humans are holding all the hard feelings too: fear, nervousness, anxiousness, sleeplessness, insecurity, etc. But boy are they absolutely beautiful. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, gender and sexual identity, confidence, self-love, boundaries, communication, and relationship struggles. Everyone’s lived experience is unique, and I believe that our identity, values, and past experiences can shape who we are and how we respond to therapy. Hours are Thursdays & Fridays only. I believe we are created to be in relationship with others. It is something we all desire and pursue as relationships are at the core of our identity as human beings. Relationships can bring us great joy or profound sadness. There is no greater pain and loneliness than to be in an unfulfilling relationship and no greater joy than to have a deep connection with others. I believe in a holistic approach, meaning my view of the therapeutic process is shaped by a curiosity about the whole person situated within relationships, community, and social context. Through discovering an individuals inner knowledge, their intuition, and that inner spark of existence, I believe there is value in exploring who we are as people. The goal of good psychotherapy quite simply put is to become more of who we authentically are, everyday. It is also my belief that people naturally go through phases in life of seeking and integration, and that in an ideal outcome the therapist becomes obsolete.

I currently work with clients in Washington State via telehealth, and have an in-person office in Colorado. I enjoy working with people of all ages and experiences, though I have particular insight into challenges more specific to women including body image, self-criticism, anxiety, perfectionisms, depression, shame, parenting, relationships, sex, and boundaries. Mental health is about holding balances in one's life, and at the core, restoring loving compassion for one's self. I support you to explore your life, belief systems, and goals; to get to the things that might be blocking you from being the support you need.

I understand that choosing a therapist can be overwhelming. With a positive attitude, sensitivity, and sense of humor, I will work closely with you to get your life or relationship back on track.
