I am very understanding and allow clients to work at their own pace in resolving their problems quickly and give them the tools to face future challenges. I enjoy clients who want to work and change. I have more than 30 years of experience in what works with people to get them going again to resolve life's trouble spots or help someone who has had trouble their entire life, and everyone in between. It is HARD to take the first step of getting help but a skillful experienced psychologist CAN help, so write me or call.
I partner with you learn from you about your experience of life as well as to teach. My role as consultant is to offer options and change methods. I let you know how changing your thinking and behavior can help you feel better and know what works to accomplish that!
I am nonjudgmental, individualized, and flexible in approach using mostly evidence based methods. I am part of the 10 percent of psychologists that have sought Board Certification and one of two in Houston to be Board Certified in Couple Family Psychology (ABPP). I have taught both graduate & undergraduate psychology.
