I specifically have a heart for clients who are navigating and processing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. I also love supporting individuals who are working through religious trauma or concerns. I have deep understanding and empathy for how difficult it can be to navigate personal growth through the lens of changing or leaving behind belief systems, cultures, and communities.

Asking for help can be one of the hardest things to do. I have always strived to create a safe and supportive enviroment to help individuals through some of the most difficult times in their lives. I received my Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas where I completed an Internship working with individuals and families of Domestic Violence. I went on to receive my Master's of Social Work in Clinical Specialization from Baylor University working with adolescents, individuals and families.

I realize everyone has different things they hope to gain from their counseling experience, which is why I believe in adapting the treatment to fit the client.
