My private practice, Deeply Rooted Psychological Services (DRPS), offers a full line of psychological services including individual therapy, testing & assessment (age 10+), and professional consultation. Nothing is more exciting to me than building lives worth living with those who suffer. Over the years, my clients and I have replaced many life-threatening behaviors such as suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, and addiction with powerful coping skills that ease suffering and build hope. I have been amazed working alongside survivors of many of life's adversities, witnessing remarkable strength even when they believed they had none. Joanne Griebel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received her Bachelor of Science in Family & Community Services from UD (2007) & her Master's degrees in Social Work & Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University (2011). Joanne has worked with populations in school, community, social service, private practice settings. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, & families. Her areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, conflict, human sexuality, self-esteem, anger management, ADHD, adjustment, & more. Joanne is passionate about helping people achieve their goals & overcome challenges.
