I am a caring and compassionate listener. My style is open, relational and collaborative. It is important to me to provide an environment that is safe and non-judgemental, where a person can develop a sense of trust and well-being. I believe the most effective therapy centers on the connection between client and therapist. In collaborating together, we take a deeply personal journey, exploring possibilities and facing what has been difficult. My goal is to help my client heal and guide them toward increased self knowledge, emotional comfort and relationship satisfaction.

I truly believe than we all face a variety of struggles throughout the different stages of our lives. By beginning treatment, together we can create the most appropriate plan of action to start you on the path of finding peace and solutions in your life. My previous and current counseling experiences have allowed me to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, with a host of presenting concerns.

Jeffrey Ottowitz is a licensed clinical social worker. Jeffrey’s goal is to create a therapeutic relationship with each of his patients that gives them the necessary agency to create a life they deem worth living. He approaches every session with full presence, empathy, compassion, and a sense of humor. Jeffrey has worked with a variety of populations in outpatient and community-based mental health programs since 2002.
