I am a fellowship trained sex therapist, studying under Dr. Eli Coleman, the nation's first endowed Chair in Sexual Health. One of the most important factors I have learned is that sexual health is very complex. However, it is important to understand that sexual concerns are best viewed within a couples framework. Addressing sexual concerns from this perspective helps to alleviate feelings of guilt & blame. This is done by working with individuals to help create an intimate team approach to therapy. Throughout my career I have had experience in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder, schizoaffective disorder, gender/identity struggles, life adjustment stressors, grief, phobias, and PTSD/trauma. As men, when we have a problem we deal with it on our own, often by using pornography, drinking, playing video games, or searching elsewhere for affection. We lie, we defend, we run.
