The focus of therapy is to identify early life influences and/or learned behaviors that lead to problem behaviors. Behaviors can include: anger, physical/emotional/sexual abuse. In addition family/relationship conflict, anxiety/depression, mood swings, drug & alcohol & compulsive behaviors. The sub conscious mind is programed from infancy with positive & negative beliefs & destructive coping skills, programmed survival skills. In therapy we identify old habits/behaviors & poor coping strategies. In therapy, we work to replace self destructive habits/behaviors with functional habits & beliefs. Anxiety & Depression are relieved.
30 yrs experience in Addiction Therapy, Process and Substance. 25 years experience in Mental Health Therapy including: anger management, domestic violence, suicidal Ideation, depression, anxiety, rage, problem relationships, communication issues, trust, Infidelity, bad habits. It also sends a very loud message that "you are not my favorite person right now" . Anger blocks others from seeing how we really feel....sadness, feelings of abandonment, loss, low self worth and much more. Society now celebrates nudity, sexual promiscuity and all manner of deviance. Research has shown how addictive pornography is. Porn is one of the more difficult addictions to control and habits to quit. It warps the mind, drives illicit activity, emotional, physical and sexual abuse. The intense stimulation from porn lasts significantly longer than most substance and behavior addictions. It ruins your moral code of conduct, relationships and lives.
