Hello! I am Gena Haley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor for more than 25 years licensed in CO, NY, TX and WA. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, autism and other issues. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused. It is important for you to feel comfortable and safe to share your challenges. Clients have told me how relieved they feel after one session. Getting acquainted is the goal for the first session.
My approach to therapy is conversational with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Utilizing art therapy, homework assignments, and solution-focused activities, I specialize in helping individuals gain the skills they need to manage their depression, anxiety, bipolar, family conflict, and autism.
I create a warm, welcoming environment in which, at the end of each session you should obtain a new skill or awareness that will help change your perspective on your mental health issues and cope with the challenges you may be facing.
