I use a variety of theoretical approaches with my clients including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, trauma informed yoga, family systems, solution focused and strengths perspective. I also practice all these approaches through a trauma informed lens. It is extremely important to me to meet the client where they are and create a collaborative and safe therapeutic relationship. The work that I do is not only something that I am passionate about but love dearly. I am here to help you recognize your strengths even in the most challenging of moments. You are self knowing. You are not alone.
One aspect of the human experience that has become of particular interest to me is trauma. We all have trauma, and it can manifest and stay in our bodies. I am a registered yoga teacher with additional training in trauma informed yoga. My therapeutic work is eclectic in that I use a variety of approaches.I believe that we are our greatest resource.
When starting therapy know that positive change takes work and often outcomes are unpredictable. However, the process of therapy is to assist you to your full and complete potential. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, I am here with you.
