Life is unique to each person and how each approaches a problem. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, my hope is to help strengthen my clients and their awareness of themselves in order to grow and succeed in life. My passion lies in working with children and those with issues of body image, self-esteem, significant life events/changes, behavioral issues, and issues getting along with/interacting with others. I have experience working with clients with intense personal histories, which can include harm to self, harm from others, and struggles to feel safe and confident in themselves.
Through listening, compassion, and humor, I create a relaxing and calm environment, free of judgement for each person. As a Registered Play Therapist, I have specialized training that can be used with children, adolescents, and adults, creating a style of counseling different from the typical “talk therapy”.
