I am a licensed psychologist who prescribes under an APN license. These two specialties offer an individual a holistic focus of treatment from therapy to medication management. I held an academic position and have published in the fields of psychology and medicine.
I am board certified in Medical Psychology and completed Master Psychopharmacology Program with Neuroscience Education Institute. I treat adults with a range of psychiatric disorders, especially Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Psychotic Disorders, and Substance Use Disorders. Substance abuse treatment could include Suboxone or Vivitrol.
I have been in practice for over 35 years and work collaboratively with each person; I believe that the success in treatment is based upon a trusting relationship between a prescribing psychologist and the individual in treatment. I also offer medical marijuana evaluations.
