Grief and loss are naturally occurring themes throughout our lives. When we live and love, we will lose and grieve. Grief happens not only when experiencing the death of a loved-one but also when passing through other life stages like break-ups and divorces, school or job changes, retirements, empty nesting, life-changing illnesses, and preparing for our own deaths. Ignored grief can look like depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, and interpersonal difficulties. I am interested in assisting people through these times and I enjoy working with individual adults of all ages, at all stages.
I believe in the power of being truly heard, understood, and accepted. Using an inclusive mix of psychodynamic and experiential therapies, we will work together to understand your story and write your future. Depending on your goals, our collaboration can be geared toward shorter-term or longer-term treatment. We decide together.
