Hello, and welcome! My name is An (she/her), and I’m honored to be considered as your potential therapist. I acknowledge that engaging in therapy requires effort and resources, and I appreciate all the effort you have already taken to arrive here. We may work well together if you value an evidence-based, holistic, thorough approach to well-being with a curious, non-judgmental collaborator who works from an anti-oppressive, gender/queer/neurodivergent/disability-affirming lens. As a Vietnamese immigrant woman, I invite and affirm all identities, committed to honoring your experiences and holding your concerns and stories with care.
My ultimate goal is to provide space/guidance to enhance personal understanding of your own mind such that you build a more fulfilling life that better aligns with your values. I help with reframing thinking patterns, changing ineffective behaviors, increasing acceptance, and healing from traumas that may be affecting the way you think and behave.
I am not here to “fix" your essential being; I work with who you are. I wholeheartedly believe that only through detailed assessment can I come to understand you/your context and lay groundwork for discerningly-tailored interventions.
