Therapy is like any other relationship - it's important to find someone whose values and approach resonate with you. In my practice, therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client. I see my role as that of a non-judgemental companion, someone who holds space and reflects you back to you. I am here to bear witness to your journey without judgment. My hope is to support you in exploring how the stories we are told, and tell ourselves, inform our worldview - our sense of self, relationships, and even our mood.
My approach to therapy is insight-oriented and informed by my commitment to harm reduction. At the center of my practice is a commitment to your self-determination and respect for your role as the expert in your life. My clinical approach is informed by relational, narrative, feminist, and psychodynamic theories.
I have experience working with queer and trans people, LGBIA+ people, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent people. I work with people who are in polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, and with those who engage in kink/BDSM practices. I work with people across their lifespan, including adolescents, older and younger adults.
