I truly believe that each of us has the ability to heal ourselves, to live a meaningful and joy-filled existence, and learn to love, honor, and celebrate ourselves. Trauma, self-doubt, painful relationships, grief, loss, disconnection, and loneliness can leave scars on our hearts and minds that affect our behaviors, our relationships, and how we regard ourselves.
I believe that choosing to seek therapy is a radical act of self-love. The first step in a journey that may not always be easy but can allow you to more consciously create the life you desire. This gift of introspection and healing is one only you can give yourself, and I am honored to walk beside those who choose this path.
I am strengths based and trauma informed in my practice, draw from theories of mindfulness, neurobiology, and self-compassion, and am a strong believer in providing both grounding and solution focused techniques that allow you to continue your personal introspection well after the time spent in session.
