I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Letourneau University. I have been working as an educator and coach for over 20 years. In my time as a classroom teacher, I have learned invaluable skills in motivating and encouraging young adults and adolescents. In education it is important to teach young people how to navigate through challenging situations in order for them to find success. I have worked hard over the years to develop the rapport needed to develop the skills in his students to get through those difficult times.
Coinciding with my teaching career I have also worked as a swim coach for children, adolescents and young adults. In my time as a coach I have helped guide many swimmers to college and helped them find careers that best suited their personalities and needs.
My journey as an educator has allowed me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of young people and now I hope to use my education and experience to help individuals who are struggling emotionally, mentally, and socially.
