Life can be challenging for many reasons. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by stress, feelings of loss, and/or disconnection. Often, we look around us and ask why others don't seem to share similar struggles. This can lead to feelings of being stuck, depression, hopelessness and/or feeling misunderstood. Therapy offers both a space and an opportunity for us to reconnect with those parts of ourselves that feel out of sorts.

I use both traditional and contemporary approaches to therapy such as insight-oriented psychodynamic work and mindfulness-based techniques. Work together will involve an exploration of past experiences and how they impact life today. As such experiences are processed, we will work together to find strategies to help you break unproductive patterns.
I consider the relationship between therapist and client to be crucial to successful outcomes. Therefore, I make use of my innate kindness, curiosity, and sense of humor to foster a relationship built on trust, respect, empathy, and non-judgment.
