I enjoy working with people who have been successful in their fields and yet have come to an impasse in how they think of themselves in terms of self esteem and self respect. The people I work with often question the significance of their lives and how loved they are by friends and family. These doubts often have their origin in their birth families and can be helped by an in-depth understanding of their role in their families.
After 50 years conducting groups, I am no longer working with people as patients in group psychotherapy. I have changed my focus to Family Therapy, helping with their communication style, and healing the bonds of family trauma going back at least 3 generations. I also enjoy helping couples with their communication styles and developing true intimacy.
I have had the opportunity to work and collaborate with some of the founders of both group and family therapy (Virginia Satir, Don Shaskan, Joan Herrick, Fred Ford) and Joe Fabry, a close associate of Viktor Frankl, a founder of existential therapy. I love sharing with you the wisdom I have gained from these pioneers.
