I am a psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience providing individual therapy and couples counseling to adults. My nonjudgmental approach, which entails kindness, empathy, and support coupled with honest and direct feedback, leads my clients to feel safe and understood - vital to successful therapy. In addition to depression and anxiety, relationship issues are a primary focus of mine, whether that involves dissatisfaction with a current relationship, frustration with establishing relationships, or trauma-related experiences with others.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in order to identify how the interplay between one's thoughts, feelings, and behavior can create and maintain an issue. Exploring one's family of origin can often reveal how these patterns were learned.
