Caring for children is a little bit like building an airplane from scratch, while flying it at the same time. I am a long-time teacher turned therapist with an insightful and in-depth understanding of children and an empathic and down-to-earth approach to supporting parents and caregivers, I aim to help you regain the controls and get your family life back on course. I work with children of all ages and their caregivers.
Children often don't know how to express their feelings in words and instead act-out with behaviors that can be confusing and frustrating for everyone. Using play therapy I can get to the root of troublesome behaviors and replace them with healthy coping so everyone gets some stress relief.
I also own a magic wand, and have found in my years of practice that it can never hurt to make a wish (or two!) It's often in wishes big and small that we find our way to a fuller, happier, and more joyful bond with our children.
