Do you speak Spanish? Did you recently have a life transition such as new city, new job, new relationship? Do you struggle with managing your mood or anxiety during this life transition? As a native Spanish speaker and therapist, we will focus on learning how to engage in healthy coping strategies during this vulnerable time, how to manage our mood throughout our new circumstances, and build healthy relationships with our support system. Through a strength-based approach, I will empower you to navigate these changes and have improved satisfaction in the circumstances of life.
I work with parents to navigate parenthood, postpartum stress, and those who have struggled with infertility, infant loss, or continue on their journey through perinatal grief. I also work with individuals feeling anxious, depressed, and having difficulties adjusting to life changes such as relocation, new job, new relationship, or complex family dynamics.
Together we will focus on ways to cope with stressors, changing negative patterns of thoughts or behavior, challenging anxious thoughts, improving communication, practicing self-care, and developing a greater sense of insight into the challenges you face and develop a positive sense of self. We will explore these strategies using our native Spanish language.
