As a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor, Bianca has over 6 years of experience in both Community Mental Health and Private Practice Therapy settings. Prior to joining Transitions Therapeutic Services, she was the Director of Therapy at a Child Advocacy Center where she specialized in counseling children, adolescents, and caregivers who have encountered various forms of trauma and abuse. Bianca received her Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University and her Masters degree in counseling from Houston Baptist University.
Bianca provides a safe and mindful environment in order to provide the highest quality care for her clients. She believes in an informed, integrative approach to therapy that incorporates various techniques and methods tailored to the unique treatment needs of each individual and family.
Her view is the client is an expert on their own family and an equal partner in the therapeutic relationship. Bianca has experience in working with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, LGBTQ+, relationship issues. When Bianca is not practicing therapy, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, dogs, and watching football.
