Beyond Healing is a counseling, wellness, and personal growth center where licensed professional counselors and certified wellness practitioners provide a warm, safe, accepting environment for individuals and families to heal and overcome from the obstacles that life has brought their way, and to flourish! We want to help you to succeed in ALL areas of your life! Our counselors are approved providers with many insurance panels including BCBS Illinois, Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, and others. We also have a sliding fee scale for those clients who qualify and are self-pay.

Our commitment is to assist our clients to reach their full potential. We do this by integrating counseling (individual, couple, and family therapy) with support and psycho-educational groups, personal coaching, and alternative healing practices in an environment of caring and support. We feel that our work is our calling.

Beyond Healing Counseling & Wellness Center has a total of 22 therapy rooms including 2 art rooms & a meditation room. We have a child psychologist, pediatric consultant, nutritionist & 50+ counselors & 12 interns on staff who can treat individuals, couples & families at its location in Homer Glen. We also have offices in located in Frankfort & Chicago.

DBT Depression & Anxiety Support Group Adults

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Group utilizes psychoeducation to educate individuals to gain better understanding of depression and anxiety while learning coping skills to positively manage depression and anxiety symptoms in a group setting. Group is open to adolescents and adults of all cultural, ethnic, genders, and sexual orientations. Cost is $35 per session.

Yin Yoga & Meditation

Come and spend an hour disconnecting from your stressors and reconnect with yourself. Yin Yoga is very slow-paced “on the floor practice” where poses are held comfortably for several minutes at a time. While focusing on your breath and body your mind and spirit unwind, leaving participants feeling relaxed, and reconnected. The sessions will begin and end with a brief meditation. Young and Old, flexible and inflexible are welcome and can benefit. All that you need is to come with comfortable clothing, a small blanket, yoga blocks, and a mat if you have them.

DBT Depression & Anxiety Support Group Adolescents

Through a combination of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, DBT leads adolescents through the process of making long-lasting and meaningful changes in their lives. The goal is to provide them with the skills to self-manage through periods of intense or painful emotions. DBT is available to treat early adolescents and adolescents. $35 per session.
