I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the District of Columbia. I have over ten years of independent clinical experience providing clinical counseling services for federal government employees, individuals and families in non-profit and medical settings, and military settings. My approach to therapy is client-centered at all times. I find that I tend to use solution focused and cognitive behavioral approaches the most in talk therapy sessions because it allows the client to take the lead and am there to support their progress.
I treat clients with various diagnoses and I find that those who are open to change, growth and have motivation to take action in their lives make the most progress in the long run.
