My ideal client is any person struggling emotionally with anxiety, depression, identity issues and family conflicts. These are just a few of my passions in assisting clients to learn skills for a more emotionally fulfilled life. This begins by improving self-worth and self-esteem through setting attainable goals geared to each individual needs in order to reach their potential self. Life can be puzzling at times and a challenge to learn how to put the pieces back together in a functional way where you can "Thrive" and not just survive.
I have 25 years of experience in working with school-based programs, families and adults in the clinic setting. My specialty is Client-Centered Therapy to get to know my clients and then Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in changing the way a person thinks to change their moods or behavior as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to follow up with behavioral.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
