Taking steps to begin therapy can be intimidating, especially if life feels overwhelming. I have a deep commitment to empowering individuals, couples and families on their journey towards healing and wholeness. I specialize in recovery from different forms of trauma, whether you have experienced emotional abuse, sexual abuse, child abuse, betrayal, or grief and loss. I integrate evidenced based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process a variety of traumas and build a foundation for lasting change. Trauma experiences can lead to PTSD, depression, anxiety and health issues.
I enjoy working with adults, couples, and teens (12+ yrs). Along with being trained in EMDR, I also have specialized training in betrayal trauma. I also offer the opportunity to integrate Faith and Spirituality into the sessions if clients desire this. Therapy is about the whole person: mentally, emotionally, physically, sexually and spiritually.
