My practice is rooted in building a trusting relationship and the intersection of spirituality and evidence based psychology. Let my 25+ years experience as a licensed clinical counselor and spiritual director empower you with clearer perspective, concrete tools to make change and skills to sustain stronger relationships. If you struggle with shame, grief, divorce, retirement or transition; suffer as a parent of an estranged adult child; or experience the life-long effects of a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I can help you identify patterns that sabotage your self esteem leading to peace and freedom.
I weave psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches with spiritual practices that can set people free from the emotional chains of the past. Together, we will step back to see the problem's context, explore patterns that no longer support success and learn skills that change behaviors for more satisfying relationships and a stronger self.
I offer in-office appts and telehealth to clients in Massachusetts. My office is a professional but comfortable space. While telehealth isn't for everyone, it's easier than one might expect and offers excellent outcomes for our problems. Boundaries are one of the most needed skills to live life in today's society. Rather than building walls, boundaries build bridges toward more respectful relationships with ourselves with others. Rightly understood, boundaries are the sacredness of self in relationship to others.
