I am Betty Roos, LMFT, I am originally from Chile and moved to California around 2007. I got my B.A from UCLA and my M.A from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I enjoy being multi-cultural and connecting with people through what makes them different. I work with individuals, couples, and groups using a holistic approach based on what is being called for. I conduct therapy in English and Spanish. Most of my experience is with individuals from different backgrounds going through depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger management, co-dependency, reunification between parents and children, among others.
I specialize in Domestic Violence and Sexual assault. I have training in Depth, Somatic, and CBT approaches. Additionally I studied Bach Flower remedies to compliment therapy if interested. I have further my studies in relation to trauma, drug and alcohol, and Domestic Violence.
I am passionate about learning and exploring the intricacies behind each one’s reality. All experiences are rich in nature, and I believe that by navigating life’s nooks and crannies we can gather tools and intrinsic qualities to thrive and enjoy the process.
