A compassionate Counselor,I have walked in the shoes of nearly all of the clients who cross my threshold for answers. I am faith based but comfortable with those who aren't. I am positive God allowed me to experience fierce challenges on my journey to wholeness and then taught me how to overcome so I would be an empathetic, powerful therapist facilitating the healing and wholeness of others. My latest book: A Sound Mind, by Hannah Waits, my pen name, is a true story about a client, Sara Tonin, who was severely abused, abandoned and left to perish, she was suicidally depressed but through faith and counseling survived and thrived.
My specialty, cognitive behavioral restructuring, facilitates self awareness to overcome self-defeating thinking, feeling and behaving. Clients are provided with coping skills, tools for recovery, growth, and self understanding. Another specialty is marriage counseling. There is no charge for the first and introductory session.
I have personal empathy for: PTSD, divorce, financial upheaval, family trauma, self esteem deficits, depression and anxiety. I have been blessed with 3 college degrees and 25+ years as a counselor. I have a reputation of getting clients quickly to the insights they need.
