Hello! I'm glad you're prioritizing your well-being and seeking a therapist to support your goals. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and older people, and I have personal and professional experience with these groups. I am particularly passionate about supporting Veterans with all their challenges, service-related and otherwise. Some of my other specialties and interests are grief, disability, men’s issues, senior and geriatric, interpersonal violence, psychosis, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
I draw primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psycho-dynamic therapy. I use the best tools for your goals, whether it’s solving current problems, better understanding your past, and/or making decisions about your future.
With all types of clients and goals, we will develop self-knowledge, practice healthy boundaries and communication, and create a space rooted in self-compassion and positive regard. I look forward to getting to know you!
