I am a psychotherapist practicing in Oregon and Washington, and in Europe. I enjoy assisting people in the exploration of new ways to manage challenges that invariably arise in life. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, or if you are experiencing activation related to past traumatic events I can help you learn new ways of relating to yourself and to others. Furthermore, I have extensive experience working with athletes and creative people.
I am well versed in practicing EMDR and supplement this with Emotional Freedom Technique. Both helpful to process emotions and manage stress. I have experience working with athletes and am wellness minded with a focus on performance and how emotions affect our decisions. I utilize mindfulness practices to develop contentedness in relationships.
With my extensive experience with performance and motivation I invite athletes and creatives to my practice. And with my training in helping couples through challenging times I welcome people who wish for improved connection and communication with their partner. Including those who have entered into bi-cultural unions. I am bicultural Danish and American.
