I love working with people who are taking steps to better understand themselves and how they relate to the world around them. I work with children, teens, adults and families who are looking to realize their full potential and confront challenges in doing so. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, family conflict, life transitions, academic struggles, work-life balance and relationships. I love working with children and parents to support empathy building in family relationships.
With children and teens, I employ play-therapy, expressive-arts and nature-based approaches to encourage processing. I welcome those interested in Walk & Talk therapy. I have an eclectic approach, including Trauma-focused Cognitive behavioral therapy, traditional CBT, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Family-systems, Solution-focused as well as several others.
I follow the principal of "unconditional positive regard" for those I work with. I take a strengths-based approach and enjoy light heartedness and humor when it feels right. I do not discriminate toward any individuals based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or ethnicity.
