Our Agency provides counseling services to anyone in the community in need of mental health services, regardless of age, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion. We can help with a variety of issues: stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions, to name a few. We also have a Wellness component that introduces the community to concepts of getting and staying physically and mentally healthy, avoiding risks, and addressing issues such as substance abuse. Our Wellness component also offers non-traditional means of healing: somatic movement and yoga.
Better Family Life has a long standing history of helping the Community. Our Clinical and Wellness Services offer culturally- competent, affordable mental health care, reducing the stigma around seeking help, fostering a supportive environment. Our approach often includes person-centered care, emphasizing collaboration and a holistic view of mental health.
We know it can be hard to reach out for help, but just know that reaching out for help is the first and most important step. We’re here to provide you with a safe, supportive space to work through whatever you're facing. Together, we can create a plan to help you get "unstuck" and feel alive again.
