I practice Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (the past as a context for the present) and draw on a variety of other theoretical frameworks, including Internal Family Systems and Polyvagal Theory, to best suit the individual needs of my clients.
My approach is affirming, collaborative, and strengths-based with an emphasis on goodness of fit between client and therapist. I ask new clients to meet once weekly for three consecutive weeks, and then use the fourth session to discuss how best to go forward.
