I support people who are dealing with some of life's most challenging experiences: significant loss, chronic illness, and caring for others who are sick and/or dying. The mental, physical, and emotional stress of these experiences can lead to complicated grief, anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships (with self and others), burnout, spiritual struggles, even trauma. These experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don't have to face them on your own. Whether you are contending with personal losses or working as a professional caregiver, I'd like to help you discover the resources you need to keep going.
At its heart, counseling is people coming together to address the fact that life can at times be incredibly hard. I pursue a holistic, humanistic approach that centers careful listening, compassion, and self-determination, and celebrates different identities and experiences. I'm here to learn about you, where you're struggling, and what you seek to change.
You matter to me. If you engage in counseling with me, I am committed to your goals and to creating an environment and a plan that supports your growth. Please note that I currently offer telehealth sessions only. If you are curious about counseling with me, please reach out by email to schedule a free phone consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
