Betsy Abbott, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Little Rock
I am a clinical social worker that has been in private practice for over 6 years. I have created a calm, comfortable, and trusting environment for us to work together in resolving problems and concerns. In the least, I am extra support during difficult or stressful times in a persons life. I focus on empowering the individual and assisting them in finding healthy resolutions to problems while building self confidence.
I primarily work with adults and children over the age of 8 years old. My main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which, in short, is the practice of developing healthy coping skills while changing unhelpful patterns of behaviors and cognitions.
Many issues I treat include but are not limited too, grief, anxiety, depression, attention issues, relationship issues, divorce, building self esteem/confidence, work problems, behavioral problems, family conflict, anger management and many more.
