I use a person-centered approach and incorporate dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy techniques into my practice. I aim to create a safe and judgement free space for my clients in order to foster self-acceptance and growth and am dedicated to doing my part to end the stigma of mental health through education and compassion.
I am passionate about providing care for adolescents and adults, and have a special interest in LGBTQ+ issues, women's issues, borderline personality disorder, and grief and loss (including the grief surrounding the loss of a pet). In my practice, I incorporate the use of mindfulness techniques, music and art, and geek subculture.
